Styling for Flexibility

Posted on May 02 2017

We can’t be more thrilled to announce that Carmen aka @aerialjinx has joined as our latest She Collective HK Brand Ambassador! A girl of endless talents, Carmen trained as a Lawyer and works part time at an NGO. Yet despite her busy schedule, she has always made fitness a priority all her life. Having fallen in love with Pole and Aerial fitness a few years ago, she is now ready to take on the world and teach her very first Flexibility Workshop and we are so excited and honoured to be co-hosting this debut event with her! Come join us from 1PM - 3PM for our Pop-Up Store and get up to 15% off on our activewear collection!

To celebrate our very first collaboration, we’ve styled Carmen in some of our favourite pieces and put them to the bend and stretch test.

BRA: KARMA - EVELYN BRA IN GREY
LEGGINGS: RESE - LILY LEGGINGS IN HYACINTH

What we love about this outfit:
Basics don’t always have to be boring, and this outfit has been specially put together to show that off. This outfit is all about combining simple silhouettes with intricate details for those who want to jazz up their wardrobe staples.

About the Bra:
The Evelyn bra has wide set straps and a thick band to keep in shape and closely hug Carmen’s silhouette while she flows through her moves. Our favourite feature about this bra is the strappy back design that’s gorgeous for layering under open back and cross-back tops. Check out the other colours we have in this style.

About the Leggings:
Attractive colours are uncommon for compression leggings, and that’s why we love the soft lavender colour of our Lily Leggings. The fabric hugs your body just enough to increase blood circulation and oxygen to the muscles. As like many of our leggings, they feature a high waistband for maximum comfort and tummy-tucking effects. The pointelle cutout design adds a bit of textured playfulness as well as aid ventilation. These leggings also comes in Dark Orchid and Black for those who prefer darker colours.

LEGGINGS: INNER FIRE - BIJOU LEGGINGS

What we love about this outfit:
To ensure maximum support and comfort, we’ve chosen our Pure Days Halter Crop from L’urv and Bijou Legging from Inner Fire for their amazing performance features.

About the Bra:
This is a bra that is so pretty you could easily wear it as a summer crop top. The halter neckline means Carmen can move freely without worrying about constant readjusting, and gives great structural support for deep stretches. We also love this crop for its gorgeous mesh detail and gold embroidered logo on the back.

About the Leggings:
Inner Fire’s leggings are made from recycled bottles, and proves that you certainly don’t need to compromise style for sustainable fashion. The high rise waistband gives the perfect tummy-tucking effect, and suits all body shapes and sizes. They are made from moisture-wicking fabric which has been tried and tested for hot yoga, meaning it’s incredibly enhanced for hot, humid conditions in Hong Kong. What’s more, the sophisticated and neutral jewel-inspired print has got us all starry-eyed over how elegant Carmen looks in them!
